KITCHEN OF THE MONTH

AUGUST 2020 WINNER

Charlotte, NC

Carter Kitchen & Bath

Objective

This Galley Kitchen was part of a whole-house renovation. The customer wanted to open up the existing kitchen and bring more light and space to a windowless kitchen. They wanted seating but not if it would compromise space in a small kitchen. They wanted a focal point (hood) and they wanted work areas with enough room for more than one person to be working in the kitchen. The house crown needed to flow in conjunction with arched openings.

Features

The Wood hood is the focal point with different height wall cabinets that create display areas. It features roll out tray cabinet, roll out spice cabinet, and double roll-out recycling cabinet. A creative 12-inch deep pantry beside the refrigerator that opens towards the breakfast area, under cabinet lighting, chiseled subway tile and elegance throughout make this an incredible kitchen using Timberlake's least expensive Portfolio Painted door style. The owners love their new Kitchen!
