CDL A/B Drivers
A Carter Lumber Delivery Specialist with CDL is responsible for transporting and dropping off materials while providing professional customer service to contractors and do-it-yourselfers. This is accomplished by appropriately using company vehicles and equipment to deliver products to customers in a safe and timely manner. Safety, building loads, inventory control and product knowledge are all components of this position.
Non-CDL Drivers
A Carter Lumber Delivery Specialist non-CDL is responsible for transporting and dropping off materials while providing professional customer service to contractors and do-it-yourselfers. This is accomplished by appropriately using company vehicles and equipment to deliver products to customers in a safe and timely manner. Safety, building loads, inventory control and product knowledge are all components of this position.
Yard Specialist
A Carter Lumber Yard Specialist is responsible for providing professional customer service to contractors and do-it-yourselfers by loading customers, building loads and assisting with maintenance of an efficient and clean lumber yard. This is accomplished by assisting customers in selecting and loading items they have purchased along with gathering materials to be delivered. Inventory control, product knowledge and organization skills are all components of this position.
Sales Coordinator
A Carter Lumber Outside Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the outside sales program and professional customer service to contractors. This is accomplished by acting as a point of contact for outside sales representatives and contractors by supplying advice, performing estimates and processing orders. Handling sales transactions, inventory control and communication are all components of this position.
Yard Supervisor
A Carter Lumber Yard Supervisor is responsible for setting the example and providing direction in the operation of a lumberyard. This is accomplished by providing excellent customer service and ensuring that the appropriate material is received by every customer. Maintaining the stock and presentation of items in the yard, inventory control, following delivery processes and communication are all components of this position.
