KITCHEN OF THE MONTH

FEBRUARY 2018 WINNER

Maureen Theodore

Carter Kitchen & Bath

Objective

This master bath was outdated & in need of a makeover. We removed the interior walls to open up the space & removed the large corner tub. The homeowner loves to take baths, so the freestanding tub was a key feature in this design. We broke up the long room with barn beams with cultured stone in between. I repeated the stone on the linen closet to help balance the design. It turned out great!

Features

This bath features a double vanity with multiple drawers for storage with a tiered wood drawer for make-up & smaller items. A face frame and doors were used to finish the existing linen closet. This master bath includes wood porcelain tile, cultured stone, quartz countertops, and plywood cabinetry.
