Utilizing the 60" stacked cabinets where available and stacking 42" plus 18" wall cabinets where they were not, a 6" starter molding was added and took the cabinets to the 10' ceiling. The 6" starter molding allowed for cove molding, keeping with the Shaker look of the house. The larger valance over the window is 113" long by 18" tall on the ends to connect the two wall cabinets. The same shape valance was used under the sink, cooktop and over the fridge for accents.
