The client wanted a large island to be the focal point in their open concept home. They wanted to tie the rooms together with the wood accents in the hood, mantle, and shelves stained in the beautiful honey manor. The pop of slate blue on their island matches the living room cabinetry to give unity—the champagne gold hardware accents the client's café white appliances to create a fresh and sophisticated look.
