RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehousing
• Responsible for providing proper storage of all materials produced and received.
• Assists in inventory on stock material and reports shortages to proper personnel.
• Ensures incoming orders are correct and placed in proper storage areas.
Staging
• Responsible for pulling stock and custom materials according to the order.
• Stages the material until the order is complete and ready to be shipped.
Safety
• Adheres to safety requirements when operating tools and equipment.
• Handles material in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Reports any defects or safety issues immediately.
PHYSICAL ASPECTS
• Standing for long periods of time
• Lifting up to 100 lbs. regularly without assistance
• Stooping and bending at the waist
• Occasional kneeling and crawling
• Pushing and pulling items of various weights and sizes multiple times daily
Equipment Used
• Forklift
• Pallet jack and other loading equipment
• Banding Machine
REQUIREMENTS
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Friendly, outgoing personality
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Must be able to work at a fast pace
